Data & Research Lab

Evidence you can build on.

Stonereach Labs turns messy, real-world data into clear findings — so the teams who rely on them can decide with confidence.

What we do

A small lab, scoped to the question in front of you.

We don't sell dashboards by the dozen. Each engagement is shaped around a single decision you need to get right — then carried from raw data to a defensible answer.

01

Quantitative research

Study design, sampling and statistical modelling for questions where guesswork is too expensive — with the assumptions written down.

02

Data engineering & cleaning

We reconcile fragmented, inconsistent sources into one trustworthy dataset — documented, versioned and ready to be re-run.

03

Evidence reviews

Structured synthesis of what is already known, weighted by quality — so you spend on new research only where the gaps actually are.

04

Decision reporting

Findings translated into plain language and clear visuals — one report a non-specialist can read, question and act on.

Our approach

Method first, then numbers.

Stonereach Labs is an independent studio of researchers, statisticians and data engineers based in Cambridge. We were founded on a simple belief: a result is only as good as the method behind it.

So we work transparently. Every figure we hand over can be traced back to a source, a transformation and a stated assumption — no black boxes, no borrowed conclusions.

  1. 1
Frame the questionWe pin down the decision, the constraints and what "good enough" actually means before touching any data.
  2. 2
Build the evidence baseSources are gathered, cleaned and stress-tested. We document every choice as we go.
  3. 3
Analyse honestlyModels are pre-registered where it matters, and we report uncertainty rather than hiding it.
  4. 4
Hand it over clearlyYou get a readable report plus the reproducible workings — yours to keep and re-run.
